THE STANDARD-MAHANAKHON
The giant X-mas tree designed by Saran Yen for The Standard Mahanakhon produced by the unique combination of thousands of plastic mirrors, cladding the real tree and transform to be remarkable piece.
We found a way to assemble all this glass into a 3D work with the simplest structure. The difficulty is having to install it on the rooftop. We carefully designed a unique knock-down assembly method for this job to complete the installation in one night. This unique piece will need to be installed over an existing tree. The structure must be minimal so as not to disturb the tree.
